The Crested Butte area and Bluebird experienced another record year for real estate sales! Like most areas around the country, people are buying properties at amazing paces for peak prices. The reaction from the pandemic has produced a feeding frenzy from pent up demand and lifestyle shifts.

The Gunnison market continued its growth from 2020 with a 26% increase in sales price in 2021 compared to the prior year, with an average sales price of over $493,000 for single family homes in the City of Gunnison for the first time. In addition to record-breaking single family home sales, Gunnison condo/townhome sales doubled in 2021, and Gunnison area land prices are up over 80% compared to last year with an average sales price of $280,000.
